At Saddle Crafts, backed by the production heritage of our parent brand Sahara Seats, every saddle is a bespoke commission built around high-density polyurethane foam cores and hand-stitched technical upholstery. Because each unit is hand-tailored to specific chassis geometry rather than pulled from a mass-market warehouse, our guarantee is structured in two parts: immediate fitment verification and workmanship protection.
1. 7-Day Fitment & Craftsmanship Inspection
Clients must unbox, test-mount, and inspect their seat within 7 calendar days of carrier delivery confirmation. Any dimensional mismatch, initial mounting resistance, or visible craftsmanship flaw must be reported within this 7-day window. (Note: External crate or carrier transit damage must be reported within 48 hours of delivery per our Shipping Damage Policy).
2. 90-Day Workmanship Guarantee
Beyond initial fitment, Saddle Crafts protects the structural integrity of the seat pan, internal hardware mounts, and seam stitching against manufacturing defects for 90 days from delivery.
Collaborative Fitment Resolution
Production motorcycle subframes carry minor OEM factory tolerances that can cause slight alignment resistance on a fresh, rigid seat pan. We resolve fitment setups directly with our builders:
- Domestic Commissions (India): If you encounter mounting resistance, our workshop team connects via phone or video call to guide bracket, OEM rubber damper, or latch alignment. If our master builder verifies a dimensional workshop error, Saddle Crafts will execute a precision alteration or replacement at zero fabrication cost (client covers one-way inbound shipping; Saddle Crafts covers return freight).
- International Commissions (Export): To spare international riders customs delays and return freight costs, export claims are resolved via digital diagnostics. Submit a clear, continuous video via WhatsApp (+91 9160999040) or email (contact@saddlecrafts.com) showing the bare subframe mounting points, OEM rubber bumpers, and latch engagement. Our master builder will issue direct adjustment instructions, dispatch replacement brackets, or arrange a replacement unit or agreed settlement if an unresolvable workshop defect is verified.
Exclusions & Limitations
- Carrier transit damage reported after 48 hours, or fitment, alignment, and cosmetic craftsmanship claims submitted after the 7-day post-delivery inspection window.
- Normal break-in of high-density polyurethane foam, routine cosmetic wear, surface scuffs, punctures, abrasions, or exhaust/engine heat damage.
- Material degradation caused by high-pressure washers, harsh road salts, acid washes, or solvent-based chemical cleaners.
- Fitment failure on motorcycles with chopped subframe loops, altered frame geometry, interfering aftermarket tail-tidies, missing OEM seat dampers, or inaccurate bike model/year details provided at checkout.
- Subjective comfort preferences, riding posture adjustments, or aesthetic change of mind after commissioning.
