Factory motorcycle seats use low-cost, single-density foam molded rapidly for mass assembly, which quickly compresses and causes tailbone pressure points. At Saddle Crafts, we hand-carve progressive dual-density polyurethane foam cores: a dense, shock-absorbing foundation core to isolate harsh frame vibration, topped with our signature high-resilience touring contour layer sculpted to support your pelvic sit-bones (ischial tuberosity) during all-day touring.
We integrate a mechanically recessed 99.9% pure medical-grade viscoelastic polymer gel insert (available in 6mm and 12mm profiles) directly into the high-resilience polyurethane foam core.
